I am so excited to be working with a new client, Enchanted Enfant. Their line is soooo beautiful, dainty, classic, exquisite. I've completed 2 shoots for this line within the last month and I am in LOVE with the images we are capturing.

:issue: Mya, Kerry Rhodes {Until There's a Cure}

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Mya for Until There's a Cure Foundation. I was excited to meet her as I first heard of her when I was around 17 or 18 and knew all the words to ALL of her songs! My favorites are "love is like Whoa" , "If You Died I wouldn't Cry", "Best of Me", "Ghetto Superstar", "Case of the Ex" & "Movin On". Her songs are still played via my ipod. She's currently working on new music and has others (that I'll be downloading via iTunes) on her myspace page: http://myspace.com/therealmya
She was EXTREMELY down to earth and so sweet.

Recently I've begun shooting for the Until There's a Cure Foundation. This is such an awesome foundation that raises awareness about AIDS. Please check them out and support their foundation by donating or purchasing a bracelet! http://www.utac.org/
For my first Celebrity PSA shoot with them, I had the pleasure of photographing recording artist and radio personality Lil Mo. Below you'll find a shot of myself, Lil Mo & the make up artist for the shoot. I'll be sharing more soon!

:issue: sleep is for sissies!
It's 2am and I'm still working, working, working. Uploading, working on marketing material for my trip to San Diego with my rep, working on answering all of my e-mails, etc. Trying to get everything done this am (still have not gone to bed) because I know that in 5 hours I'll be getting pulled in each and every direction by Kailynn-James & Kardan. They've been so.... don't know the word... this week... Being a mother is the best thing in the world to me... but whoever said it was easy to run your own business and raise a family needs to write a book so I can read it!
Wanted to post a couple of my favorite shots from recent shoots & then I'm off to bed!

It arrived! There's just something so wonderful about seeing your work in print! Feels unreal, like someone else took the shots... Or am I the only one that feels that way? A N Y W A Y
Last year, I did some wonderful photos for the YMCA's Annual Report! You may have noticed those images in my portfolio.
Their Annual Report had the most wonderful theme... "All Kinds of Heroes Love Their Y". Featured were various people who were heroes in their own way. There was a Virginia Tech student who was in an unfortunate automobile accident. He tried tons of hospitals, was dropped by his insurance, etc. and found the YMCA where the staff helped him recover tremendously. He was so easy going and fun to photograph. I decided to photograph him on a steep hill laying below him camera pointing up to appear as though he was on top of the world! In addition, I had the pleasure of photographing the Mayor of Alexandria, VA who is an active member of the Y, a teacher & mother of 4 who lost 200 lbs attending the Y, a few adorable kids & other marvelous people as well. See the Annual Report below:

This is Lindsey, a model who could pass for Demi Moore's daughter OR better yet pad her pockets by getting hired to impersonate Demi Moore! She is such a sweet model & I am sure she hears this all the time :) Right Lindsey??Just thought I'd share :)
